GIS-Gender Inequality in School: our Erasmus+ project
GIS-Gender Inequality in School is the Erasmus+ project which our school "IIS Lorenzo Gigli-Rovato" won thanks to the cooperation of six European schools: Spain, Turkey, Greece, Bulgary and Italy.
This project began the previous year on the eTwinning platform and the topic discussed was gender inequality and discrimation of girls in STEM.
Students and teachers had to cooperate with foreign students using the English language and improving their digital skills. Then it was also possible to meet them on videoconferences held in different schools. The strong point of this project is to share experiences, to learn from different cultures, to act as global and at the same time as European citizens who can work together for a better world.
