Songs of gender inequality of Türkiye

4th MOBILITY: ITALY.

DAY 1 March 7th 2022 

Welcoming Activities > Visit to the Town Hall (Municipality of 

Rovato) > Cooking Lab > Lunch together > Sightseeing tour in Brescia.

• Once arrived at IIS Lorenzo Gigli, all the participants met together in the big hall of the school and they sang the refrain "Give peace a chance" together. Each team recited in their own language a stanza about the urgency to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine and all the wars around the world. 

                               

•   After this activity all the teachers were welcomed by our Principal , Mr Davide Uboldi, the coordinator of the project and all the teachers involved in it. There was the exchange of gifts brought by the different partners and then a school tour. Foreign students, who were divided in small groups, followed some of our Italian students who toured them around the building and labs.

• At 12.00 there was a meeting in the Municipality of Rovato which gathered the local representatives and the whole Erasmus+ group. The meeting started with the greetings and appreciation from the Italian team to the host teachers and students who were taking part in the mobility and the local representatives. Every member made a speech underlining the positive points related to this project and the efforts made by everybody to accomplish every detail of it. Then our coordinator Mrs Rosario gave voice to the main aspects of the project an spoke about its meaning which is not only open our students’ minds but also learning about gender inequality in order to give girls and boys the same opportunities and careers.

                       

• In the afternoon some Italian teachers and students went to "Pizzeria Positano" to let foreign teams see how a pizza is prepared and cooked. After the demonstration, the Erasmus group cooked a real Italian Pizza and then ate what they prepared. 

• At 5.00 pm some italian students with the help of their teachers invited the Erasmus+ team to a sightseeing tour in Brescia. 

DAY 2 March 8th 2022

Trip to Milan > Chiesa di Sant'Ambrogio, Castello Sforzesco, Arco della Pace, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Duomo, Teatro alla Scala.

This day was dedicated to a sightseeing tour to Milan. The tour was guided by our History of 

Art teacher, Mr. Ciro Mega, and two students were in charge of the translations of all the 

explanations offered by Mr. Ciro Mega.

 

DAY 3 March 9th 2022

Puppet Lab > Wine factory Lab in Franciacorta 

• Students and teachers showed their already prepared Puppet Show using web tools 2.0 in the school library. Then they were divided in small groups and went into the ICT lab to write positive messages about Gender Inequality and Peace using the web tool Wordart.

• All the members of the Erasmus project went to visit a wine factory on the hills of Franciacorta “Cantina Boccadoro”. There was also a reserved time for tasting the wine and a party for the guests. Before coming back to the hotel there was a stop at “Outlet Franciacorta” to appreciate local products and buy something.

 

DAY 4 March 10th 2022

Sightseeing tour to Venice > Piazzale Roma, Ponte costruzione, Santa Maria dei Frari, Ponte di Rialto, Piazza San Marco, Rio degli Schiavoni, Giardini pubblici Biennali internazionale d'Arte, Ponte dell'Accademia.

This day was dedicated to a sightseeing tour to Venice. The tour was guided by our Human 

Science teacher, Mrs. Cristina Tubini, and two students were in charge of the translations of 

all the explanations offered by her. 

                                     

DAY 5 March 11th 2022

•  In the morning the group met these two important women, Dott.ssa Roberta Morelli and an Engineer, Maths teacher and Councillor for Culture Prof.ssa Daniela Lussignoli,  and asked them questions about their lives and important decisions they made in order to become what they are now.

•  At the end of the interview some italian students showed the results of the Wordart lab held on the previous Wednesday.

 

  

• In the afternoon the teachers involved in GIS-Gender Inequality in Schools projects with the participation of the Principal Prof. Davide Uboldi and all the foreign teachers met together to make decisions about the 5th Mobility. 

• While the teachers were involved in the meeting,  the students went to the gym and did sport activities. 

                                       

• In the evening there was a Farewell Party with traditional music and dances organized by the Italian team. Certificates and gifts were given to students and teachers and it was time to greet all the other Erasmus+ project partners.
